Tip to trouble free motoring, don't own a car with more than 125,000km on the clock, there comes a time when you will start to spend money repairing lots of small thing which all add up in $$$ (plus the hassles) where it would have been cheaper and more convenient to sell the car before they occur and buy another with low KM.

some people aren't cashed up like a W.A miner so they have to make do with the best they have and look after it, some cars go for 250-300,000 klm no problems so what are you on about

I've heard of more problems with new VE's than any car I've owned. Every VE I know has been back to holden at least once. That's definitely not trouble free motoring. I drove my VN to 350,000km without any major issues. I reckon it's just luck of the draw, some cars have problems some don't, kilometres irrelevant. Cars are definitely still fine past 125,000km!! And it's WAY cheaper to have some minor repairs done than buy a newish car. I bought my VY for $12K and new it was $52K. 140,000km. I'm pretty sure I made a pretty a good saving on new or low k's.

I had the same on my misses car check power train, misfire on number 3 changed spark plugs haven't had a problem since I think it was actually cutting out a cylinder for pollution reasons as the O2 sensor must have sensed the engine running rich due to plugs not igniting fuel properly hence why it would cut out a cylinder

Suggest you take your car to an LP Gas Specialist and have them thoroughly check the system (it is illegal for anyone not licenced to work on such systems). You really do need to work through all aspects of the vehicle's electrical and mechanical systems in order to identify or eliminate the problem. It should be done systematically by someone that knows what they are doing. Good luck.

VE Omega Dual Fuel 2011 and 98 VS Statesman S/C
I have both a VS and a VE Omega Dual Fuel which has been a real Pain in the A*#e! I ended up getting a code reading tool on ebay for about twenty bucks and it worked great! It gave me the codes and with the book the book they give you I eventually got rid of all the codes by replacing the faulty units myself. The local dealer up here in Northam tried to rip me off by first of all telling me they would have to drop the subframe to replace the fuel pump and that would be about eight hours!!! What a Robba!!! I did it myself in thirty minutes just by taking the back seat out! I could not believe how some dealers have NO ethics at all note Some! Anyway it runs pretty good now just a bit of a rough idle on gas but when switched to petrol it is perfect, I think maybe I will have to replace the other 3 gas injectors I did not do! But that little code reader saved me thousands!!!!
