mud flaps

Yeah i noticed my car gets much much dirtier after taking them off (had to because they don't make mudflaps for the HBD Kit). The bottom half of the doors and the rear bumper get especially dirty.
I put some 3M paint protection film on the ends of the skirts and 30cm along the bottom of the skirts to prevent damage from stones coming off the tyres.
When i had mudflaps on i used to take them off every few months and clean out all the dirt that got trapped behind them.

I bought a set for mine, as it had none when I bought it. I reckon they keep a bit of the road grime, mud, tar and stone chips off the paintwork.
Reminds me, I should pull them off and clean underneath mine too.:bang:
