I'm
Gosh it's been far too long since I checked on this build.
Looking fantastic 383_Hatch. Only 2 weeks to go; I hope everything goes smoothly. Any start up's yet??

Thanks mate. Everything is going ok so far, however I'm really starting to doubt it's going to be finished enough to actually drive it there. It's got heaps of little things to go like wiring up the lights, indicators and such. Then I still have to build an exhaust. So, I'll probably end up trailering it to the place and dropping it off a few hundred metres down the road and driving it in. The outside will be finished visually, so it's definately going to be there one way or the other. Hoping to fire the motor this weekend.

So anyway, I bolted some stuff on it today. Here are some pics (pretty average).

Oh and one just to annoy reaper. LX Dash in....

The photos really do it no justice, it looks killer in person.

So, just a few pics of how it sits as of tonight. The body is pretty much done, apart from lining up the drivers guard to the nosecone (two person job), painting and fitting the tailgate and putting the windscreen in. This week will be all about getting the motor running and the rest of the mechanicals sorted. The interior is also mostly in. It looks a bit average with the new colour scheme, but at the moment it's all that I've got so it'll have to do. I'll get a new interior when the wedding is done and dusted and I've gained some more funds...

So, pics. You'll have to excuse the dust, it's filthy from sitting in the shed. It'll be getting a good clean on Friday before the wedding.
