Those roles are paid in criticism, usually in bucket loads. A very thick skin is essential!

Paid in conversation whenever you visit in the real world, and coffees and biscuits when they visit you.
Moderation isn't for everyone, but if you can hack it, the rewards are far greater than monetary gain....
