Auto is quicker than the manual and the paddleshift is okay. As stated a transmission tune really livens up the box and is totallu recommended.
One thing to consider too - my wife needed knee surgery two weeks ago and it's going to be at least 6 weeks recovery. Surgeon asked her if she had a manual or automatic. Told her if it was a manual she legally would not be able to drive.
Food for thought as we get older or unforseen events can leave us temporarily or permanently disabled.
