I did see this today. It is a good result for both the league and ex-players. The players get the support their need and the league didn't have to fork-out billions of dollars. From the limited amount of reading I have done the only thing I didn't like about the deal is it doesn't cover current players. Though there is probably enough medical care for these guys after football anyway.

So are they going to refund all the Tebow jersey's now?

Also incase you havent seen, the analysists at NFL.com made some very bold predictions for this season, some of them include

Drew Brees to take home the MVP

Rex Ryan wont finish out the season at the Jets

The Raiders will continue to slump and be the worst team in the NFL

Michael Vick will return better then ever

The Cowboys will step up and win the NFC East

Wes Welker will dominate with the Broncos and prove my boys wrong (I miss him already)

Jay Cutler will be the new Joe Flacco, minus the ring

And probably the biggest call

The Bengals will win the AFC even with Andy Dalton at QB

Haha maybe, I wonder if he will try another position now.

My Thoughts:

Drew Brees to take home the MVP, this is possible.

Rex Ryan wont finish out the season at the Jets, probably unless he starts Smith and Smith actually wins them some games

The Raiders will continue to slump and be the worst team in the NFL, definitely but should be better next year.

Michael Vick will return better then ever, yes he will for the 12 games he plays.

The Cowboys will step up and win the NFC East, Tony Romo, enough said

Wes Welker will dominate with the Broncos and prove my boys wrong (I miss him already), three words, Peyton Freaking Manning

Jay Cutler will be the new Joe Flacco, minus the ring, yep

And probably the biggest call

The Bengals will win the AFC even with Andy Dalton at QB, winning the AFC with teams like the Broncos, Pats and Texans? I doubt it.

Other news...

I found this on the concussion lawsuit, Players initially sought $2 billion-plus from NFL in concussion settlement - ESPN

The $2 billion + is about where I thought they would get but it seems a large portion of their case could be dismissed and the players were worried about losing.

Anyway...

Final cuts have been made, practice squads have been set and it is now week one of the NFL season!

How about them Broncos?

For a first game to come out and drop 7 touchdowns to beat the Ravens 49-27 was great!

The rest of the teams in the league should watch out.

I am just going to leave these here...
