No way to protect them really. Polish them up, then every week wipe them down with some water and a little metho mix, and every month or so re-polish them.
Heres a pic of my catch can, not a perfect mirror because its round.

A good 2 PAC CLEAR COAT will keep them looking like that!!

You will need to use a binder first.

Less maintanence!

well its been about 2 weeks now, no yellowing, looks good... dosnt attract dirt/finger prints

Depends on the heat that it gets. The rotor hats I did on my torana lasted around 2-3 months before it was really noticable.
