Last trip to Bunbury I did for work got about 9.8-9.9L/100km based on the trip computer, but now I'm starting to doubt anything the trip computer has told me.

Are you cruising school zones ?
lol. Yeah. And a lot of idling while I get fat waiting in the car for my wife while she is in the fitness shop.

My Maloo in normal daily conditions averages around 14/15L with an average speed of around 45. doesn't seem great, but not heaps worse than my old S pac was so seems consistantish.

cheers, i'd be happy with numbers like that, it's not great but acceptable, that's what we get for driving a 6L v8...

2000 Vs Ute
My SS Thunder (6L Man) gets about 12L/100 around town and often in the 9L/100 area for freeway/country stuff.
The Blown 6L Man Sedan is more like 13-14/100 in suburbia and a good run can see it in the 8s on the freeways.

I get 11 per 70km on my way to and from work. And about 11-12 per 100 on the mainland highways sitting on the limit with cruise on.

Should note. Both are VZ's, not the VE body like yours Losh.
Thunder being the L98 and Sedan being the LS2
Neither are daily cars though. So often only get taken out for the longer trips
ie If i need to go locally in town to the shops the VS is taken
Might skew the results ever so slightly. But when the Thunder was taking place of the VS it was still in the 12s for around town
