Hi guys,
Just a question ive heard a little about these chips/resistors on ebay that are going for bout $20. i think they stuff around with you temp sens or something to make your car run as if it were cold or somewhat to increase power. it is claimed that it is not bad for your car i have been told it is, and i believe it most likely is also. so i leave it to you guys, is it bad? has anyone had any experience with these chips/resistors.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Chips might have small gain. Stay away from resistors.
