This is a mess.
How do you break a “Powertrain”?

Step one should be a scan tool on the car to see what codes provide some sort of a starting point.

Why were the plugs changed?

That warning just means something isn’t right and a scan tool needs to be used to see what codes have been logged.

You should at a minimum buy an OBD2 Bluetooth module. It plugs into the OBD2 port that scan tools plug into. Right above the drivers foot well. Then get a diagnostic app for your phone. Apple -DashCommand. Android - Torque. Connect the phone to the Bluetooth module once plugged in and away you go.

Then you can get information yourself instead of relying on shady workshops.

If you have information, we can guide you and teach you a bit and then you will know if some shady workshop is taking you for a ride or not.

I mean we’ve been going to the workshop for like maybe 15 years I wouldn’t say it’s shady, but can’t do much atm as it’s in the garage but once it out I will buy one for the future
