thanks guys :) ill tighten them this morning :) oil pan should come end of today if not tomorrow morning, and i got ARP flex plate bolts. All thats left is them clarkos pulleys which ill get too. now to get the engine in the car!

got my ASR pan today, was so excited till i opened the box....they didnt weld the fittings i paid for onto the pan for the turbos.. :( now it delays my build more.....a fair bit pissed off...

They are only on the other side of town. $16 for a double couriers please coupon last time I sent em stuff. They may wear that cost for delaying the build

That looks like a pre-ecotec pan being pressed steel and all.

probably is...wouldnt be suprised....dunno if im happy with the pan in general or not :S

on the good side of things, i spoke to the engine builder and the bols for the mains he matched up so its all good to use the ones i have, so they are in and torqued up :) one less headache i gotta worry about lol

That looks like a pre-ecotec pan being pressed steel and all.

The Buick and ecotec pans only have a few differences like a couple of bolt holes at the rear under the rear main plate.

The good thing on the ASR pans is the windage and trap doors. I have a basic ASR pan and am really happy with it

With my pan, they welded the top where the gasket goes...how is a gasket supposed to go on?? Not happy
