So, my VF2 Redline Sportwagon gave me a flat tyre before its first service.
The last time I got a flat tyre I was a teenager driving a 1983 Corolla.
So it got me to thinking... Are these huge wheels with low profile tyres and higher recommended pressures more likely to give you a flat, or was I just unlucky? What are your thoughts?
Who else has got a flat on 19s or 20s etc?
As an aside, I was amused to see that the spare tyre, a 19 inch forged wheel like the rest with Potenza RE50s (245/40 R19) had TWO stickers to say it was a temporary wheel. Sure, you don't want to mis-match the rear wheels for long but it needn't be temporary if used on the front.
