I really want to do a 67 Impala. However I really wouldnt know where to start in relation to parts and stuff. Imagine it would be a **** ton easier to restore an old Aussie classic.

I think cars have to be 40 years or older to be a classic so not just yet, however i stand to be corrected:beer chug:

Always walk around, as a photographer, it shits me no end when people can't either wait 2 seconds or simply sidestep 2 foot.

Bit of common courtesy goes a long way.

On the positive side, I have only had 2 people do this, everyone else has been courteous and is happy to give me space, many times I get asked questions etc, always gives me a chuckle when doing long exposures and people are gobsmacked at how they can walk through the image without being recorded.

this is how my dad taught me how to drive. took me to a massive industrial car park. put stockies on the car. said have fun and try keep control. i learnt so much and its saved my ass so many times in the rain/gravel roads.

same here, for people who live out bush hundreds of kms from the nearest skidpan or racetrack this is about the only way to learn some car control.
just don't get caught because this is 'hoon behavoiur' which makes you a badass criminal/menace to society etc

the mx5 is really no different to the old Brittish sports cars like the Frog-Eye Sprite or the MGB roadster.

They were'nt girls cars.
