Subs and amp randomly stopped working??

hey guys
my x2 12 inch subs and clarion amp stoped working today randomly.
the light on my amp doesnt come on when i put a cd on.
ive checked all the wires going to the amp and the subs and there all in place.
any ideas?

If the amp isn't blown, then it's one of 3 things.

1 - Ground wire.

2- Power wire, also check inline fuse

3- Trigger wire

They are the only things respnsible for an amp powering on.

(EDIT) Also amp's main fuses as mentioned below by Stone, i forgot to mention them.

When you say it doesn't work when you put a CD in, does it work when you have it on radio? A common mistake people make when installing is to use the head units aerial trigger wire instead of amp trigger wire, which does the same thing as the amp trigger wire but only when the head unit is set to radio.

Another thing to check is the fuses on the amp and the fuse on the main power wire, it should be near the battery in the engine bay.
