Tensioner is $253.00 from gmh dealer thats what i was quited got one from wreckers for $40.00 so shop around non moving parts second hand is best to get and moving parts new cheers

Mine got noisy at 90,000 and I replaced all 3 for luck. If they are plastic they are the originals and if metal they are replacements.

how much does it cost it get all 3 done

Do it yourself and they cost about $70 or less for the 3 pulleys with bearings (not each).

sorry to invade your thread but Have a small problem hoping someone can help me out with. I have a Vr and just purchased a tension pully from the wreckers. Holden had told me it needed replacing but the wreckers gave me the whole bracket which seems when looking at it that you have to take off the Alternator. I thought you could just undo the bolt on the tension pulley itself and replace it that way.

You can do it that way. Just remember it is left hand thread.
