I don't mind the lion badges but I'm getting rid of the others. I'll possibly leave the V6 badges but the rear badges will go for sure.

hey thanks for ur help.. they came off easy! I used fishing line and then eucalyptus oil to get rid of the glue.. looks sweet!

I was lucky my commodore and executive badges came off so easy
just plucked them off by hand then washed the car to get rid of the tape

Which are the badges that leave holes if taken off? Is it just the bonnet and boot one?

not sure... ive left them two on the car and debadged the rest!! had no holes just black gluey stuff!!

What do u guys think of taking the moldings off?? and how would u do it?? (stripes on the door..)

I don't mind the side moulding if they are coloured so I'm leaving mine on.
There are held on with double sided tape and some black sikaflex.

VT GTR EXEC S1 - SOLD off
pour wax and grease remover from autoparts place on the emblem, takes the glue right off without touching the paint, did my lst night, this is what they use in body shops for badges.
you will have to rewax the car of course around the badge.

debadging boot lid

just a quick question for those of you that have taken off the holden badge off the boot lid of the sedan and have NOT replaced it with another badge (ie chev/hsv)

wat did u do to get rid of the holes... is the only way to get a panel beater to fill in the holes and repaint it???


and idea would be good.

I just left the holden badge. Looks nice IMO
