You’re having a laugh yeah. I’ll just pull $15k out of my arse. It’s got swirls. It looks better than it did. Its condition is preserved well enough now for the next few years saving me time for cleaning and saving me from releasing an enema of cash to have the cars paint restored.

It’s a compromise. Like everything.

Dude a clear should be like 2-3k

Maybe 20 years ago.

I'm sure I read somewhere, he's helping @Fu Manchu with funding for the respray... :)

In all seriousness, the stuff @Fu Manchu posts up to help others out is unbelieveable.....How he finds time to do this stuff is beyond me.....So I do tip my hat

It's a clear, you just use scotch brite rub it down with some soapy water, hose off then spray the car, gee my single cab ute is about 3k in paint, clear is clear there's no special pigment in it it's just clear.

Paint job is more than $3K through a shop....

What @Fu Manchu has done should help others in future when it comes to correcting issues with their paint/clear coat....So that's where the focus should be

No color, if it's still got full clear coverage then you can just rub back and re clear.

Yeah I call BS. It cost me $380, just to paint a side skirt and touch up three chips.

I still call BS. There would be over $2k in just blocking back and buffing clear, unless the painter got it perfect off the gun.
