track stripes

was wondering what peoples thoughts/opinions are on track stripes,ive got a voodoo blue sv6 wagon and iam thinking about putting the genuine holden stripes on

At the end of the day its your car , so its your call. Im not a huge fan of them, but they look good on "some" cars, depending on the colour.

Agree mostly with this

But I don't like them and think they look stupid.

The only good track stripes I've seen were black on black on a ute.

I had the genuine track stripes installed by Holden.

Removed them a few years later and they had damaged the paint (as in full on cracked and needed a respray)

I'm very anal about my car and only used the best products around and treated the stripes with the proper stuff too...

DON'T DO IT.

I've seen heaps of them turn to **** after a few years in the weather and they look like crap.

...Actually, they don't look too much better even when they're brand new IMO.
