twin turbo setup on ls1?

oh ok, maybe that's why iv seen a few new ones come up for sale with people buying other turbo's, yeh garret are a good brand, iv worked on turbo cars before but diesels with garret turbo's and no problems except for obvious age wear when they've done nearly 300,000 km's+. thanks for that, glad i asked around other wise i would've purchased 2 of the ones i saw, appreciate it.

Don't touch KKR turbos. LS1Turbo stopped using them because they were having too many issues, and they are the masters of dodgy!

does this sound like a good turbo to use if i had 2 of them? or a little small for a ls1 with a cam and head work?

yeah mate ive heard bad things about kkr turbos,
im going through this process atm mate, have got myself a garrett t04z single, and am fitting up over the easter long weekend.
i drove the single turbo and twin turbo and i can honestly say if you wanted to do it on a budget, the single spool difference is negligible, the power output almost identical, and the labour cost difference of single outweigh the benefits of twins.
ill let u know how she goes

cheers mate, yeh sounds about right, i know a lot of the rice drivers swap the twin turbos for single turbo setups on gtr's, supras, soarers, etc, getting a lot of good info atm which has been very helpfull.

The turbos are rubbish (the GTDW ones are better though), but that isn't my main concern. The pipe work doesn't fit, regardless of what Martin tells you, or what it says on the website. It takes SIGNIFICANT grinding and modification to get the kit to even closely fit, and even then you'll be so dissatisfied you'll wish you never bothered. Trust me, I've been through it.
