I have a 212/220 115 and I make 318 on a tight ass dyno and my mate has a 220/226 113 who made 330 on the same dyno as me.


LOL tight ass dyno, seems like over inflated figures to me

Made 262 with OTR, full system and tune on the same dyno pre-cam and prior to that had made 277 on a dynodynamics....which was probably high. Perhaps taking 20 thou off the heads helped also. If you like, come down and we will put it on any dyno you like and find out for sure LOL.

My bad I read it as a cam only power run, can't have the OP thinking that he can get those figures with torquey cams like those.......

Iam running a vcm 10 in my manual ve SS ute putting out 308 rwkw, seems like a good street able cam but is a little bit grumpy at very low revs.

I'm running an L76 with OTR, Clubby headers, HM 2.5" S/S zorst, been de-AFM'd using a Summit Racing kit, beehive springs, retainers & pushrods. Took .025" off the heads as they were off to fit the LS7 lifters to get rid of the AFM ones. Running Comp Cams 54-412-11 XR265HR duration In 212 Ex 218, valve lift In .522" Ex .529" with 114 lobe separation.
Had it tuned, but not fussed about how many KW, just wanted it to run properly.
I didn't want it pushing at the lights & wasn't interested in running a stally as I tow with it & mostly the Boss drives it. It has a reasonable idle & it goes well enough.
Overall quite happy with the result.

I believe the vcm5 is for forced air induction setups eg supercharger. I'm waiting for warranty to finish
So I can put the vcm21 cam is my 2012 Ve ss
