Excellent find, of all things to be the fault,
Thats very interesting that it had caused the misfire.

I must ask, what made you look at the spark plug to locate the crack.

Prior to this I had recently checked all the other plugs give they have only done about 6,000 kms and thought this one was checked as well so I though just for my price of mind I would check it and to my surprise the crack as found.
Got another plug from supercheap but will be planning on changing all the rest of them so they are all the same.
The current ones were NGK plutnum type which were not cheap.
