Ive done a driving course when i got my licenec and its maintained fantasticly well as i service it quiet regually, just want to bump up the power a tad before i go buy a wh woth a 5.7 lt :)

How many K's onthe engine and does it still have good compression etc? It might be worth seeing how much horse power it has lost from new first.
I'd just do the exhaust and keep up the regular service.

Don't waste your time man! Save for a V8.

people say that theres hundreds of these threads... i say theres millions of these stupid comments to go with them, im sick of seeing the 'save for a v8' comments, when he clearly wants to modify his 6

+1

In any case; alot of people opt for the 3.8; due to its superior weight ratio?

Ha, almost?

I read somewhere that the vn v6 had the same amount of power if not more then the OLD v8s that Holden used... Not sure if it's true that's why I said almost. That and a thrashed v8 on it's last legs has to have less power then a good v6.

Go to a few track days and learn how to drive like a boss. I used to waste 400hp evos in a near stock toyota mr2 mkI, not even a supercharged one. I'd rock up and make on the fly alignment adjustments and tyre selection then fart round for a bit then hammer down on much more powerful cars......including VN, VP, VS, VR commies. A 600hp methanol powered corvette was my crowning achievement, I was shitting my pants cause he was pushing me on the best line on the way out of corners but I'd underbrake him so well he could never get it to stick. I swear the commentator was going to bust a nut in the last 2 laps:rofl2:

Once you can get the best out of a raging piece of **** car you will be lethal with more power. My current car is about 270 at the wheels but I'm looking to make 400 at the wheels. If you ever want to reach those kinda levels keep the shitbox stock and learn to drive the balls off it, also has saved me whole cars to other ########s that pull out and such. I place great importance on being able to drive well.

Above my respect for another person's fast car is a person's fast driving
