Nice input! Can you scan the Senator one a bit better so we can read the text? Also, can you confirm that the Senator 5000i dosn't have 4 bolt mains?

The VP's with 4 bolt mains in the HSV book I have are the GTS (130) and the Clupsport 5000i (50)

It was noted that the high output engine was an option but did not say if it was a 4 bolt job.

So thats at least 180 4 bolt motors into the VP range

VK prefix (4 bolt mains) info I have is 149 engine numbers recorded from VK589705 to VK614954

I still make it a VN body as in the doors - but may well be a VL mule as it was back in late 87 early 88

Thank god someone backs me up! I was having a discussion with some people telling them that Senator 5000i's DIDN'T have 4 bolters, but they insisted they did.

Engine numbers will tell the story. I only know of the GTS and Clubby 5000i's myself.

I call VL mule.... or something along those lines. looks approx 60-70mm too short ....
