Suppose I'm going to have to eventually learn how to upload pics but tbh really hate iphones etc but after photobucket crashing years ago then breaking last phone & losing important pics as well as car pics etc.

Found crash pic of it on another forum but not allowed to upload...only car pic on new phone is of my first ever brand new car/towpig with it's *ghey* ribbon around it

*Did go dragstrip caught up with some people to get some contact numbers about more parts etc for blower setup.

255/60/15 on 15x7 chaser...is a good 3 inches or more clearance to rail so really needs custom 15x9 rim or maybe put shorter vl wagon diff in it.

The split tubs added 40mm or so to rails.....added section is on inside so still looks factory untill put another ute near to compare it lol

It still gets used & abused like any ol' aussie ute

Tyre bulge so much better than stretch.

Definitely looks way better than 255's on my 16x7's - mine looks like this with the flat as the tread area: /___\
Really need some 16x8's
GTRboyy has it looking good on 7's with the smaller rim diameter though.

I thought yours were HSV rims which should be 17x8 ?

Being tall tyre with higher sidewall a wider rim will push out sidewall more.

Funny thing is off car 27" tall 255/60 looks huge compared to stock 205 that is only 25" high....yet fitted on car you barely notice the difference in person but weirdly looks decent in pics.

Pic above with big tyre was before I lowered ute even more...it had too much hotrod stance even though sat nearly level on small tyre.

Left big wheels off as extra 2" will screw up speedo & cbf'd correcting that untill it gets way shorter diff gears plus want to wait for some front runners for big n littles look next time lol
