Centre bearing as in release bearing?? If so, wouldnt this make the noise the other way round? no noise when engaged, noise when out.

As pendles said. Spigot bearing sorry. The part that comes with a new clutch kit.

Pretty sure they are a separate item, unless clutch kits have changed in the past few years. But yeah, sounds like a spigot bearing, wouldn't stress too much, next time you do your clutch do the spigot bearing too.

They come in the kit. Did one recently.

I'd still ask the supplier if you get the spigot bearing in the kit, as every brand is different. When I originally purchased my Exedy HD clutch kit, it didn't come with one. Only came with the clutch driven plate, pressure plate assembly and throwout bearing.

i have never seen a spigot bush in a getrag clutch kit, or t5 kit, or t10 kit, or ........
Spigot goes in crank.
