Check the o-ring and spring. It shouldn't allow to much oil into the plenum chamber, that Ecotecs are renowned for doing. I plugged mine and have now got a oil catch can setup.

Radiator cleaning won't take long. Flush the engine too when it is all back together.

Just make sure all the carbon is removed.

Well seems alright haha, we'll the plenum was in pretty crap condition, as in how black it was,

As in just with the radiator flush I'm guessing .?

bit of an update, heads are off, washed all the bolt ons, heads are off now just scraping the carbon off the top off the pistons an all the rest,
also got my gasket kit top an bottom an engine mounts for a total price of 318.48 from my good friends auto one.

rear springs are in, don't think that will pass roady either Cause once jacked up the springs are loose ?
an stock tail lights an back to stock pretty much haha

i have large cable ties on the springs in the rear of my ute so they stay in haha....not sure if thats roadworthy though lol
yeah I thought that haha. will wagon springs fit in ? some idiot cut my originals when I wasn't watchin to "fully sick slammed !" haha

an also got a question for one of ya, if I got a stage one cam will anything else have to be upgraded, cannot find this info at all :(
any help greatly appreciated

Camshaft upgrades do need headwork and a tune.

um dunno dude I checked yesterday it said empty so ill check again,
oh an I now know why I should get a new rear housing plate, chucked a square up to it an its warped to the sh*t,

oh spewing I though wagon springs would be fine for a roady :(

4 am this morning I was up till, valves have been re ground with like a fine lapping paste, new valve stem seals, scraped the deposits off all the valves on passenger side, the heads are Mickey Mouse, you could eat off em,

thinking about getting a new piston ring an bearing set while I'm here, anyone know prices roughly ?

motors almost back together, eerythings minty clean, new gaskets o-rings an seals all through out, engine mounts, valve stem seals, valves have been re seated/ground/ lapped,

had a major set back yesterday, spilt old engine oil fuel an degreaser all over the driveway, spent the day on my hands an knees scrubbing it out, all my parts I washed got all dirty again, was spewing,

learn from ya mistakes though, haha
