- vz sedan vs ute gsx1400
vt/vy mc/booster is the go because there newer cheaper and there plentiful if you have abs you can fit one from a vz like Duece has on his vr https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/threads/low-brake-fluid-warning-wiring.274527/I’ve just purchased a very clean 1 owner 48k kms VR Aclaim V6 sedan, I’m looking to upgrade the front brakes as the rotors need replacing at a minimum. (I’ve done a VT upgrade with VS booster on my VK so understand the process).
Is this the normal build of materials for the VR:
VR 1-inch V8 master cylinder (Std 15/16)
VE V6 front rotor 298mm & calipers
Std VR brakes hoses.
Is there a minimum wheel size required?
Std rim is 15-inch, looking for some 17” VX SS rims.
There appears to be some conjecture on this site with the necessity to use VT style fast fill master cylinder???
vt/vz calipers 296mm rotors will fit 15 inch wheels you but can fit any size i have on my vs ute 17 inch vz wheels to fit ve calipers 321mm rotors and modified vt-vy mc/booster
