VT Self Leveling Rear Suspension. Any good? Worth Repairing?

Have brought a VT Senator.

Basicaly the rear shocks are stuffed so the self leveling isnt working.

Is it worth repairing as the shocks are only available from holden.

Or am i better off fitting lowered king springs and new pump up shocks or somthing?

Weren't wagons live axle?

Dare I say they would be different.

but the mounting points on the bottom are different sedan to wagon and are not interchangable.
