will this work if the old ecu is cooked, does it need the old ecu to get the security code or can i do it with the new one in as the old one is dead

@Lex @lout ive got the scan tool paired the ecu and bcm, now it cranks but is giving code for ‘no reference pulses while cranking’, so i swapped the CAS and still the same, any ideas?

There's the cam sensor?
Also could be wiring?

Or faulty cas sensor?

now you need to get multimeter or scope
and start checking the crank sensor circuitry
