SRS airbags.. no other badges there nor ard the car.. only badge on the car is on the boot which says berlina series II.... car is verified to be a VX 01 acclaim with RTA but boot says otherwise..

what a joke rite!

Looks like just the boot has been replaced and sprayed. Usuall the rear quarters would be blended to match the colour but it looks like just the boot was done. The Berlina lights is a common upgrade, not downgrade. The boot allignment looks spot on, just the badges aren't legit. Also that exhaust tip didn't come on an Acclaim so you might have a different rear section there too after the accident.

yea thats why i said the seller was abit dodgy since he claimed that he didnt know the full history of the car yet said the car wasnt in an accident before.. well if it isnt a major accident thats fine.. i had a look at the chassis and it seems to be okie.. so i guess it must have been a rear end collision..

is this a keeper plp? or shld i sell it off?

when i look for signs of accident damage/repair i look for the following

1) blending in the paint work
2) screw driver and spanner marks on bolts etc that hold panels on
3) creasing on body work
4) sound difference when tapping on panel (bog makes a different sound)
5) creasing on floor and dents in chassis, structural and support areas
6) alignment issues (between panels)
7) wheel alignment (front and rear)
8) any suss ****
9) welds

its a rough guide, but most repairs will show one or more

Your car mate. Have a look on the floor in the boot under the carpet. There are sealer marks. If they are consistant chances are the impact was just bu,per and boot only. It's hard to find a car that hasn't been touched.
