Ok... So I serviced my car the other day.
Now I have a thing of oil sitting in the garage.
Was just wondering where you guys would dispose of it?
If you just put it in old milk containers or something and throw it in the bin?
Or is there a place to take it to?

Your local tip will have a place to tip it in free of charge since they make money off it. I just keep it in the oil containers untill I have like 10 of them, then go pour it in. there's no other way to get rid of the horrible stuff, makes you realise oil should be left deep in the Earth where it belongs doesn't it :)

i just go down the back of my 1 acre yard and dump it along the fence line

I hope you or any future generations never intend to eat anything grown on your property or you can say hello to heavy metal related deformities :) ^ this is not a good idea, do it right and take it to the container at the tip

I'll be the 100th person to say take it to you local tip. Every council has a website with information on what you can take to your tip or a link. Out local tip has a big liquid storage vat you dump your oil and stuff in at no cost. Don't chuck in the ground.
