A 1500 watt amp does 1500watts, there are two subs?

I find it amusing that you're more worried about the subs handing the power than you are about the amp being run at 0.5ohm :rofl2:

Im an Option Audio dealer. I know the amp is good for it. I just cant advertise it. I also know my old OA rep used to run his oax1502 at .5 daily in his personal vehicle.

An oax1502 does 1500 into 1ohm, you want it to run at .5 theoretically doubling its output (give or take a couple of hundred watts) and push it into an 800watt load.

Please, for the third time... explain this impedance rise

the amp isn't going to do anywhere near 3000watts, even with a 0.5ohm resistor on it, with no impedance rise.
