VFII SSV Redline Ute
List price was $73K
Glad that I am not living in NZ, 2017 SSVR ute is selling around A$62,000 drive away here in Australia. Got my 2016 SSVR ute with 40 km on the clock back in February this year for A$54,990 drive away, the dealer threw in 20" factory wheels and tinted windows.

$53k for my VF SSV Redline, with loads of extras including Walkinshaw exhaust, floor mats, etc. I know the dealer so got discount. Ordered my new VFII SSV Redline 3 months ago and couldn't get her less than $62,000, with no extras :(.. same dealer.

Build date set for October 18 though, hanging for it!

I just picked up my new 17 ssv redline wagon last week. I used my Westpac altitude rewards points with Holden which gave me $3000 off the best negotiated price. Ended up at 60k drive away with tow bar and mats. Pretty happy with that deal.

You stole it. That's insanely cheap.

Man they are really taxing people for the MY17. I got a October Build 2016 model Redline in Manual with Floor Mats, rear sunshades, Pollen Filter, Full Blackout Kit, Metallic Paint + 6 year Warranty and 1 year Insurance for $56,100 drive away. Must have purchased just before the price rise!!

Silver 2016 SSV Sportwagon, $52,990 drive away, rear cargo blind, 17,004 KMs, build date May 30 2016, I got it may 31 2017, so 1 year and 1 day old. Even used, they're still about the same price as new.

I've notice no one posting what theyre paying atm probally due to the non discounting.

Happened to be tyre kicking at Wollongong holden the other day while a mate was looking at a wagon. 67K for a 2017 redline sedan, white with 20's in manual - no deals. That was the take it or leave it price LOL. SOAG MSE manual in showroom 85K LOL. Was at Paul Wakelings Campbelltown over the weekend - anything with a HSV badge that was new was over 100K. An R8 LSA manual with the SV rimfire wheels and GTS brakes 110K thanks......LOL In regards to redlines and SSV's, one is much better off buying one of the many low kay 2016 examples advertised for well under 50K . I plugged a lot of models into Glasses Guide (I have access as I am a finance broker) and the book value on these things (the second hand stuff) is at least 5k to 10K under what these dealers are asking and the stock is not moving.

Its interesting as I think anyone that was going to rush in and pay top dollar for an MY17 has done so and now we are on the downhill slide on values in particular the 12-18 month old stuff. One will still have to pay good money for an MY17 though if you want a new one as the dealers are holding them fairly tightly.
