Started watching Bluey with my granddaughters, now I'm a convert.
And it gets censored in the US?
Disney has some views on things, so US viewers watching it on Disney do get some altered content unfortunately.

the snip turning into biting was the weirdest IMO.

The USA is full of prudes and bible bashing fanatics. In years gone by, the later mentioned group set off bombs at abortion centres ... to save lives

So USA being prudish, it's not surprising that years ago, when execs of Nickelodeon realised what was contained within the cartoon Ren & Stimpy, they pulled it from their cable channel. Why, because it was deemed inappropriate for their young audience due to the many crude adult jokes embedded within. Jokes that flew over the heads of the younger audiences but gave something for the older audience, the ones paying the bills to enjoy

So the cancellation only served to peeve off the parents and many were so pissed off that they threatened to cancel their subscriptions unless it was returned.

Luckily execs followed the dollars and oblige their paying customers by returning R&S to the cable channel

Never seen Bluey but if it's like R&S, I should check it out

Stop calling it Hammerbarn. I have to think what you mean every time I hear you call Bunnings that. You're the first and only person I know who calls it that. Before you mentioned it, not so long ago, I'd never heard of the term.....
I don't watch Bluey, but I knew about Hammerbarn a long time ago from friends.
Not had to interpret. Big red hammer, big barn / shed.

Hahahaha, no FUIC I can't lay claim too. If you lived in SA you would know exactly what I meant. FUIC has been around for over 10 years.
But FUIC ? No idea.
First time I came across that was last year in Innamincka ............ I thought it was water from Cooper Creek mixed with condensed milk. Yukk. o_O
I'll stick to Oak iced coffee. :)

Nothing like Ren & Stimpy, more suited to little kids (and grandparents), but it is fun to watch!

We must have different prudes here in Aus.
On FTA 96, we get to see Kindig Customs, the rest of the world know it as 'Bitchin' Rides'...

So US bans a kids TV show, yet GTA is fine for seven-year-olds to play all day long
