FIT 1.9:1 high ratio rocker rollers.. cams and chargers way too expensive I think.

That would depend how much cash you want to spend. If you got the coin put a supercharger on it with a 15 psi pully and all the bits that go with that. Check out http://v6supercharged.com.au/prods.asp they have some grear stuff

key question - how much money are you looking at spending??
one of the better ways to go about getting some power out of the ecotec without upsetting the bank balance too much or having to pay heaps extra in insurance (like you would with a s/c) would be to -
rebuild the top end, selecting a good cam grind to suit with a quality timing chain setup, have the heads ported and decked taking the compression up to say 9.8:1 or there abouts. back this up with a good exhaust and having the engine kalmaker tuned and you should be going quite well.

SS Inductions CAI
HM S/Steel Headers
Redback Catback Exhaust
Modified MAF

Its got alot more kick that stock, but its still got a long way to go...

ATM im thinking,

1.97:1 Ratio Roller Rockers or
3.9 LSD or
You tell me what u recon..
