key question - how much money are you looking at spending??
one of the better ways to go about getting some power out of the ecotec without upsetting the bank balance too much or having to pay heaps extra in insurance (like you would with a s/c) would be to -
rebuild the top end, selecting a good cam grind to suit with a quality timing chain setup, have the heads ported and decked taking the compression up to say 9.8:1 or there abouts. back this up with a good exhaust and having the engine kalmaker tuned and you should be going quite well.
