304 What to do with 15k to the chariot?

320~kw for $6k assembled motor... can't beat that...

Yeah but it doesn't include much - you've still gotta go injectors, ecu flash/tune, cam, blah blah blah. Once you add everything else, it'd probably come out the same as a normal engine rebuilder. I'm an engine builder and we just quoted $10k on a 355 stroker including everything (all internals, cam, injectors, surge tank and oil cooler) plus 8 hours on an engine dyno, and remove and replace the engine (out of a VN SS).

well its time to put some balls in the stato as im fairly happpy with how it looks.

ive got 15k to put towards the car that means i need the
auto rebuilt (shift kit strengthen stallyetc)
diff rebuilt (with maybe some gears and lsd tightened)
and of course the engine.
exhaust currently has a 3" but will be goin twin 2 1/2.

been tossing up with charger or stroker.
am leaning more towards stroking it to 355, but will go charged for the right price and specs.

hoping to get around 300kw or so if thats possible haha.

stato + 15k = VXR8 series II or their abouts.

Auto with a bigger drum, 3000rpm stall, Kevlar bands etc etc, Billet Servo. Should cost about ~3k (inc the rebuild).

Diff Rebuilt with 3.45 - 3.7 gears. About 1k.

Then a 355. I would say go the pavtek but its usless if you want to do anything else to it. Find someone who can build you an engine and sit down and think about what you want this engine to do. Dont just go straight for numbers.

If the rest of the car is in good nick the k's mean **** all. After the car is about 10 years old, everything should have been replaced at least once, Now your just doing the major stuff.

250rwkw in a blown stock not rebuilt 5L is a ticking time bomb....

15K you can have a nice rebuilt NA 355 with cam and manifold combo, auto rebuilt to suit with stall and shift kit and a nice tight lsd with some gears. it will be a reliable combo rather than a boosted time bomb...
