i can get a vy2 r8 clubbie for 21k dunno if that helps as it is pretty cheap and is a 285kw plus it has full exhuast system

Yeah but it doesn't include much - you've still gotta go injectors, ecu flash/tune, cam, blah blah blah. Once you add everything else, it'd probably come out the same as a normal engine rebuilder. I'm an engine builder and we just quoted $10k on a 355 stroker including everything (all internals, cam, injectors, surge tank and oil cooler) plus 8 hours on an engine dyno, and remove and replace the engine (out of a VN SS).

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but 'ken oath i'll be saving for that engine setup!
