i see what you mean with the vn but you look at the level at the car with the ground and it sort of looks pretty level dont you reckon. i think the camera angle might be an illusion.

Im undecided on it, i like it flat, on tougher cars like chopa's VH i prefer tha arse higher and on a cruiser, mayne something like SSL in the front and SSSL in the rear, just a little lower, not low enough to say i have a fat man in my boot.

It has to be all about fashion.

Haven't you all seen the young guys getting around with their pants half way down their arse ?

Same thing with the cars. All about dragging your arse around town.

When I was a young bloke, everyone wanted a HQ with the front super low and the rear so high that all of the coins in your pocket would fall out onto the dash when you got into it !! Massive forward rake.

Anyone remember air shocks fully raised in the rear ?????

Old school = Front down, ass up... Not because of spring choice but becasue of the big fat rear tyres... :p

Anything newer = Sills flat/parallel to the ground, even profile all round. And as low as you can go/want.

FTW!!
My opinion anyway... :)

Does this count? :D Was impressive, 750rwhp blown + cammed 6.2L. Quiet as though, and looks basically stock when he puts the original rims back on the rears.

it's the drag car look
90/10's in the front kind of thing happenin'.
XD Falcons came out with that saggy arse look standard

looks stupid to me, but as already mentioned it's one of those fashion things, like whitewalls and driving around with the seat fully reclined back..... Ridiculous but fashionable....

At least it looks better than the front being lower than the rear, looks terrible, might have been the 'style' in your day but I don't see how the rear being lower than the front looks worse.
