How old is the recycled footage in that ****?!?
I can better that. I recently watched a current affairs type program clip on hoons in Australia (I think it may have been 60 Minutes) only to see a clip of a car that launched itself and hit a pylon of a bridge and disintegrated. I was totally flabbergasted as the clip was of a young man in the USA who was not speeding, but fell asleep at the wheel after doing a night shift. As he was on a freeway the car was travelling at speed, legally, and it ran off the road and hit a slight grass ramp on the verge that caused the car to launch. I had watched a show some weeks previously about cases where people escaped incredible accidents alive. This young man was knocked out by the impact and was thrown metres away from the wreckage (he flew through the air, you could see the footage captured by a Patrol Car that was behind him when it happened) and despite some nasty injuries he survived. Only to have his accident included in a clip on hoons in Australia, poor lad.
That shows to me how these programs will dumb people down, not only by using footage from another Country on a story about this Country, but it wasn't even a hoon related event. Pathetic journalism.
