i fixed the lean issue.. i was getting valve float with the high ratio rockers..

gonna be getting 105 springs installed

stock rockers and pulley made more power than the high ratio rockers and 10psi pulley lol

umm if you have got the alloytec v6 then stay away with modding it it wont impress you power wise.. i would go for the 8 and save your money.. the great thing about the ecotec its built like a rock the block will withstand everything you though at it (assuming all timing is spot on).. 30psi with a 2.9L whipple and 8.0:1 compression i can't wait. just with the M90 at 17psi smash HSV's 8's i havn't found a VE HSV to race me yet... wont matter new gear came last week and now its maxed at 21psi.. getting tunning done in a month

You dont gotta, there not goin to make a difference, unless its 30farad or sumfink huge.

What size box's are you puttin em in, i went 1.34f3 as per spec, but i recon the need to be in a smaller sealed inclosure like just over 1cube.

7m of 0guage should be enough for ya to do a +ive run n do your batt grounds n boot ground

How will you connect the intercooler?? Isnt the intercooler ment to cool the air after the supercharger before the air is heated by the supercharger?

The BYE plate is made to sit between the engine and the supercharger and diverts the air out into intercooler piping and then connects to the water barrel then back into the plate to go into the engine. the plate is made out of fiberglass and carbon film to make a very strong bond and because of its material no heat is transfered from the engine to the charger.. I'll put up some pics soon

    Just An update.

It's been awhile since i did something with my car since i've been unemployed for the last 2 months but now it's time to get back into the swing of things since i just got back payed **** loads from centerlink and the commbank for my loan

so just payed off an ordered the cam 2day

    the specs of it is:

ZZP XPZ: 217/225 .352/.333 116 which has .570"/.540" total lift (stock rockers) .598"/.566" total lift (YT 1.7:1 rockers)

I'm planning to grab the YT rockers later just before i finish the build

The stock heads now have to be milled and re-decked & re-springed since the new cam is to be for the stockers.

new springs are 130LB (Stock springs are 90LB)
    New Milled Retailers
    and New High performance Lifters

    Total Package around $1600
    Head work $1200
    New exhaust system - Headers $550 + Cats $350 + Xforce Twin 2.5" $400 + Labour ??

    Tuning $1300

so wont have it tuned in time for C4C i wanted to eat some v8's

Will Have some pics up when the gear arrives. I got in early and bought it before the Aussie dollar falls anymore

Expecting close to 260Rwkw with the stock charger (1.3L)

Planning get a Whipple Later on (2.4L) expect 310+ RWkWs and a mid - high 10sec time

impressive build list youve got going on, smart buying it before the aussie dollar drops further. it'll be good when you break into that 10 sec times, especially in a wagon.
    good job
