Hey everyone, Im new here n just wanted to share my late 05 Black WL Caprice with you.

Picked this Babii up mid Feb 2011 it was stock as a rock and any mod below was added by myself

Let us know what you guys think, what you like n what you dont. All Comments, Questions, Opinoins and Suggestions are welcome.

Mods done so far:

PERFORMANCE MODS:
- Mace Engineering 12mm Inlet Manifold Insulators.
- 20% underdrive pulley kit.
- 3.9 LSD Diff gears

BRAKES
- Front Dimpled and Slotted RDA Roters,
- Rear Dimpled and Slotted RDA Roters
- QFM HPX Front & Rear Pads.
- Red Calipers.
- Black roters.

EXHAUST:
- Full Exhaust System
-Pacemaker Extractors
-Twin Hi-flowcats 200 cell
-Twin 2 & 1/4 catback.

INDUCTION:
-SS growler cold air induction with K&N Pod filter.
- CPR6 Manifold.

SUSPENSION:
Superlows King Springs
KHFL-47SL
KHRL-46SL
Pedders lowerd shocks and struts.

AUDIO
-Double din pioneer headunit (avic f20bt),
- Competition Kicker Sub.
- Pioneer speakers in all 4 doors.

OTHER/MODS:
- 20" Vy Senator Signature Rims on 245/35/20 Wheels,
- Also 20" XHP Shorelines chromies.
-Red walls on the sigs.
-Red Pinstripes.
- Tinted Windows (pretty dark on the back lol),
- Full Interior lights in Blue LEDs, (footwell, doors, courtesy lights),
- Head Lights H11 , Fog Lights H27, Parkers T10 and License plate Lights T10 are all xenon white.
-Full Custom Blue Dash Conversion LED Lights inc cluster, center console, climate control, power windows, and rear DVD controls.
- Delkor 680CCA Silver plated Battery. (Can Start a heart )
- VZ SS genuine Satin Chrome foot pedals.

just changed sparkplugs, inspected coilpacks, cleaned out throttle body.

SH!#, $50 wasted on metal gasket as it doesnt sit nicely like the paper gasket because the LPG GAS injectors are in the way and i cant get the paper gasket one anymore. :'(

So i had one last solution which was these, MACE engineering 12mm manifold insulators, but still had to cut out to same size as the paper gasket as can see. but was much easier to cut wood than metal.

pretty good, 8.5L/100km @ an average speed of 50.3Km/h on a 125Km trip for a 2 ton car.

i just thought that the chromes suit the car cause off all the chrome bits and lining around the car.
My current rims on the car are the Vy sigs.
i Still have the Chrome ones if anyone is interested in them just pm me.

I'm having trouble uploading the pics of the subs and new pics of the car.
There too much ****ing around with picture dimensions and size to get it to upload or attach.
Is there an easy way of just attaching the pic the way it is with out having to modify it atleast 10 times. Grrrr.

Haha, I'm surprised on how many people over the forums don't like the chev badges?
Ignoring that it's a 6, is there another reason that I'm not aware off??? Lol

However wen in person, many seem to comment on how good the badge looks and that I should also get one for the back. Lol

Yea but, it's just a cosmetic detail for the car.

IMO it adds a tough look to the front of the car.

No the leds did not come stock with the headlights. i bought them and stuck em on my self. took bout an hour to do.

Ok, it looks like ill be putting back the stock grill, luckily i kept it. haha

i would put the chrome rims on but they scrub really badlly so ill have to get the gaurds rolled however i dont really want to do that cause im worried the paint may start to crack.

HEYYY, how u been?
Haha na havent had the chance just yet to change the grill. lol you know how freezing it is out side today specially after that hail we had before.
i got so worried bout the car.

As for the sensors, i havent found anyone who can get them to work again. Very upset.
i went back to autobarn where i had the headunit instatlled but they said they arent working because they had to bypass the stock amplifier to get sound coming out of the new headunit and that they dont know how to make both of them work at the same time

If anyone has had this happen to them or know how i can fix it or who i can go to in the South Eastern suberbs can you please help me out with any advice. Thanks

Yeah.. Its a holden... I can understand why some people may not want to wear the badge, lets face it... Holdens aren't exactly built that well. But a chev? Chev is like the Reject Shop version of GM, the Budget brand... I don't know why someone would want to put that on there car... And very distastefull.

Ofcourse in saying that, this is YOUR car... not mine. And stupid anicdotes and judgements aside; if you think it looks good, then power too you. Like I said, Its your car

Alright i think he gets the idea that 99% of people on this forum "dislike" (read: hate) the chev badge. With your guards being rolled you can get a professional to do it or if you wait till a nice warm hot sunny day and use a mallet and a dolly you can do it but it is risky. Or you can use a hair drier to heat it up instead of waiting for it to warm up again. I did mine and didn't crack the paint, but on a mates car i did crack the paint, although his paint was alot worse condition and he didnt really care about the car..

tats cool mate, ive sorta died down on the mods. Ive got the same cluster as urs but have had phreddy do his magic with the lights.
