It's the same with every car I've had, running petrol only my vy could do a standstill, once gas got put on, the revs won't go over about 2k, my vs which was already on gas also won't go much over 2k. Why not and how to Change it? Cheers

If your car is a V6, wait until its raining pretty heavily, put some oil down on the road, then do a really sharp turn, left or right, it doesn't matter. If you follow my suggestion, you will surely leave one skinny black line on the road. Or you could get a V8, and you wouldn't ask such a question.

Over one year on this forum and with 515 posts, you should know not to ask this stupid kind of question on here! Or are you just a bit thick?

Why can't you do a standstill?

- Cos it's illegal on public roads and I very much doubt you have a large concrete slab on your property.

Please be more respectful to fellow road users and don't be a ########.

May be you are not doing it the right way.
Here's how.....

"You put your left foot in, you put your right foot in.
you take your left foot out and you slide it all about".
(Quotation source: Tasmaniak)

This method works on both automatic and manual cars.

Warning.
Serious injury, including death, persecution, name calling, road rage, loss of license, impoundment of car, etc.
will occur, if one is stupid enough to follow the above method.

but in regards to the vs v6 engineering has it been implented with some kind of wheel control to maintain contact to the road and prevent wheel spinning

my old VL had no worries but the vs seems to have technological inhibitors
