VF SSV manual sedan on order
Yeah totally with you on Brocky Mate. R.I.P. I'd love to see what he would have done with a VF.

Put the Beamer is the garage. Those Fords are Territory tough.:rofl2:

HSV logo plates are good value at $99/year: VFSSPB! (Perfect Blue , Peter Brock).

Good idea on the number plates. I'll have to check with the RTA to see if that is available.

Also, maybe the Territory should stay out:

a) it's a lease
b) it's a Ford LoL

I just did EXACTLY the same thing with a low km VE Series 2 VE SSV manual. Stock as a rock and in immaculate condition... Plan to keep it forever. So far I've added the km it took to drive it home - it's not even a daily. Will do the same thing with a VF Series 2 SSV manual as close to the end of production as possible and brand new. Both white so they match but slightly different models for some father son times. So good to be planning ahead. :D

A second hand commodore as an investment?
Take a long time to see any return on that

I had the pleasure of riding with PB around Eastern Creek for about 3 laps when the Monaro first came out. Great experience. We chatted the whole way and he explained his driving technique and offered some thoughts on the then current Holden and HSV ranges. He had just bought himself a Monaro and had done a few things to it which he felt offered better value the a HSV one. Best experience of my life outside of my wedding day and the birth of my kids.....or maybe just the best day full stop!

VF Redline Sedan - A6 Spitfire MSE...
MPC,

They're available at:

Restyle Existing Plate

Formats for that price include AA.99.99, 99.AA.AA and AA.99.AA amongst others.

So 05.SS.PB or PB.05.SS would all work. Checked availability on 05.SS.PB, and it's not taken. Looks great in the HSV format IMO.

Here's a pic of mine so you know how they'd look:

Other styles available too. Blue would look good.

Get on it while you can.

Love the car mate. A beauty.

Cheers

An investment in my future son/daughter's first car... Not a financial investment. Jeez! I'm no fool.

Hmmm...my Birthday is coming up. Might do some investigating.

Tried the auto park for the first time to day. As Ace Ventura said..."like a glove"!

Two of my knucklehead mates have already visited their local Holden dealer since I picked mine up not wanting to be outdone :rofl2:
