I just got fitted a genuine towbar and loom to a SII CalaisV Sportwagon, my parking sensors are still staying on when I go into reverse with a trailer connected, so im guessing something isnt wired up to the parking module?
I have taken a picture of a plug that is going no where and its near the battery. This plug is apart of the towbar loom.

And does anyone have the instructions for the Towbar harness/loom?
Which might give me some info, as I can't see anywhere that this can plug into

Thanks, but I've already had a look at that one, all it confirms is I have the correct wire but nothing for it to plug into

It could be a testers plug they use at the factory to make sure the unit works

I think you may have to go to to the setup menu and activate "towbar fitted" in the parking sensor section.

I've done that, all it does is extend the range out so the sensors account for the tow bar sticking out the back it doesn't turn them on or off

It's also not a testers plug, I've Sussed out it's definitely to do with the parking sensors that plug, but where it is supposed to go to or the info is hard to find with out the harness installation instructions.

Ok Google is your friend, it's defiantly the rear park assist grounds plug only used in series 1 rear sensors

Ah ok then, so what is used to shut them off in the series II? Ive tried to google the info but cant seem to find anything that tells me or is it normal that I have to turn the sensors off myself?
