Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I recently got another vs statesman as a donor. Basically stripping it and cutting the guards out etc and chucking em in storage incase one of them there lectric cars decides to attack my good stato anyyyyway while pulling out the headliner I obviously removed the light in the centre of the roof and low and behold......it's stamped with the ford logo. I immediately went to my stato popped the light and yup that filthy oval badge was in that one two. I know Holden,gmc,opal,chev,Isuzu,Toyota all went to the same swingers party but who the hell let Ford in??

The VG-VS utes had Ford on the tail gate latch.

Of note is the unbelievable similarity in the front seat frames of the FG and VZ/VE/VF seat frames. I’d not be surprised if they even fit up fine in a Commodore with some mix and matching of components.

I think the rear view mirror was another part in VN/VP. (Might be wrong on that)

yeah old news but another one is au falcon master cylinder reservoir same shape as vs and when you upgrade to a vt-vy m/c its a direct fit with out drilling and taping a new holes

It's the same thing as Holden buying RB30s from Nissan. On another note, I've found heaps and heaps of GM part numbers in Toyota Lexcens before.

Not true. GMH purpose built Lexcens for Toyota. It was part of the model sharing arrangement between Holden & Toyota back in the 1990's.
Lexcens were built from 1989 through to 1997.
