Good call for changing the order. At least you didn't cancel it when you read my bs! I was going to put you out of your misery within half an hour, just in case you did.
As I've had air caught in the abs module when my lines were changed years ago??? and also some dramas just with a fluid change???, I decided this time to just do pads (with new rotors) on the old fluid to eliminate variables and keep it apples to apples for the oranges.

Just a FYI to anyone using the DBA SP or XP pads, the brembo caliper uses the DB1678xp pad part number (same is all the brembo equiped Evo and sti etc) but DBA also make the DB2358AXP which is the DB1678 + weights which is what the OEM pads have fitted to help with noise.

Had the T3 rotors and XP pads installed today.

have only just bed them in, and will need to drive with conservative application the next few hundred kms to complete the material transfer, but can already tell they are miles better than the T2 and QFM HPX they have replaced.
some very slight squeal in the rear on super light pressure application on stoping, but imagine this will dissipate as rotor and pad further bond.

Got these for my ve ss and was thinking about buying some ebc red stuff pads instead of using them instead of the pads that were supplied, any thoughts?

I've had the DBA T3 slotted rotor and DBA orange pads on for a couple of months now. I'm pretty happy with them. Next week the same will go on the rears.

My orange pads never stopped squealing in the bag. If I had my time again I would put green in the back

Why do you think the Green is better for squeal?
I'm getting a very little low speed squeal. Not sure if back or front

That’s what DBA recommended.
The XP dont have a chamfer for maximum grab

I've just put on Bendix Ultimate Rotors and Bendix Ultimate Plus pads on my SSV. Standard SS brakes. The Rotors are slotted and dimpled (not drilled through).
Once bedded in they have more cold bite than the OEM, and more positive feel overall, but I'm not sure how they compare to others that are available.
