VT 5.7 SS
2000 VT LS1 Auto 160k on the clock. CEL light comes on when going 100+. Come to a stop. Switch off, restart 2mins. Cruise under 100 ok. Foot down ÇEL. Carrying Vident OBD scanner. No code. Fuel trim -2 both banks. Replaced oil pressure, o2 and knock sensors over the years. Any ideas?

It should log a fault in "history",
Are you checking all the modules ?

Possibly need to scan it with a higher end unit,
or
Get a colleague to drive it, while you scan the modules.

Sounds like o2 sensors. Over 80 - 100 is lean cruise and flat foot is rich. Ecu won't be seeing correct values and lighting CEL.

Upgraded injectors at 150k. OTR. Extractors through X Force 2 1/2 exhaust. Tuned with MAF. Was going great for 5000 k"s then CEL.

the light only comes on when a code causes it so there must be a code for it unless the tuner has disabled the code but it still shows a light for it somehow ? also if u can see freeze frame data for the code then that may help, unless its totally unrelated to the engine
