No, i was hoping to come on automatically. They turns on when i i do so through the scan tool though.

If they come on via the scan tool, it suggests that part of the circuit is good. “Suggests” it is.

You could buy another coolant temp sensor from a different place incase there is a bad batch.

You could test the two you have in hot water using a multimeter to make sure they are working as designed.

What does the scan tool say about engine coolant temp?

If you start the car first thing in the morning after its been sitting all night, the CAN coolant temp data should reflect what the overnight temp was and should steadily rise as the engine heats things up... Fans should automatically kick in around 80C..

Fans kicked in at 108C and then the teo goes down to 101C and goes up etc.....

I dont to speak to soon but i got the car running for over an hour and took it for a short drive around the block and touch woods is good now.

I replaced the new coolant cap the one have purchased of SCA with one i have on my VF.

There is the problem. The one you purchased from sca.
Bet it wasn't a cpc cap?

VF fans first kick in at 82C according to the workshop manual, then they ramp up in speed at a higher temp (that I can’t remember) and/or when ac kicks in…
