There's plent of cars with 4000 rpm stalls making 400 hp at those revs at my track making perfect traction. Tyres are the most important thing. But in your case I'd be blaming the track also because no way a 5 litre should be spining the wheels on a good drag strip

pumba, isn't your VP cammed? My VR 5L ran a 14.8 with the previous owner. No cam, auto.

14.8 is a pretty healthy time for a VR with exhaust only, that's about as good as it gets

i could only sqeauze a 14.96 out of mine un opened, but that was in heat soo it could have done a 14.8 easy!

14 seconds isnt fast for a 5L haha 11 or under is a fast 5L.
