Doesnt sound too bad, mostly things you'd expect on any car really. I have heard the fuel sender unit is a very common failure on all magna's. Good to hear they are comfortable for travelling as ill be heading up to the gold coast in it in a few weeks. Cheers for the info.

I do. Got a bit tired of the Berlina and a bit tired of fixing one thing after the other as its up to that stage in its life now. Bought a kj verada from an elderly couple a few months back, loving it! Got to fix up a few things on the Berlina then sell it off, will be a sad day. Ever encounter any issues with your magna?

Gday mate, yeah its a Tech 2 scantool. Just a cheap chinese clone one, but it works excellent. It works on all aussie holden cars up to 2011. Ive used it a fair few times now with no problems at all. Its got way more stuff to muck about with than the tech 1 had, takes a bit of getting your head aound some of the stuff on it, The aussie software card is the thing thats hard to get hold of , and expensive too , it costs nearly as much as the machine. The software cards I can get are genuine bosch cards though, not counterfeit chinese ones. The seller I bought the machine from in china was supposed to supply me with the aussie sioftware card, but when I recieved it, it was just the holden export software card, it only has chevy luminas etc listed on it, V6 and V8, no other holden cars are on it. I think it still works on our commys though,Ive been told it will,but I havnt tried it out yet.Cheers mate.

Hi hako I Have a power steering problem, it's hard to steer! there is still full fluid in the resivor and no leaks, it appears ok when driving exept that the power steering doesnt work as well as it used to at low speeds like parking, I have blead the PS taking the front off the ground and turning a few times with the car off & on, after doing this it appeared to work a lot better but still a little hard to steer when parking should I try the above again?, is it safe to drive? would you know what the problem is and the cost to fix?
